ABOUT THE SERIES
FAR-West Presents is a new monthly series devoted to promoting songwriting communities throughout Southern CA in collaboration with the annual FAR-West Conference, which will be held this year in Vancouver, WA October 9-12. Hosted by artist and FAR-West board member James Combs, Cabin Creek Concerts is our home this summer - Ellie Rollins’ beautiful Venice Beach music space located by historic Gingerbread Court (originally built by Charlie Chaplin in the 1920s). Artists play right on gorgeous Venice Beach, where the audience view includes the setting sun, mountains, beach and ocean in addition to the music! Our guest curator this month is award-winning Singer-Songwriter and FAR-West former President Arielle Silver.
