About the event
In his own words, Matt Axton likes to think of his music as a “Humble slice of Americana”, a mix of folk, funk, country, blues and rock with a little bit of everything else I can find thrown in.
He was lucky enough to be born into a musical family and he's proud to keep the Axton Family Legacy alive. With his grandmother Mae "Queen Mother of Nashville" Axton - PR maven / Songwriter - "Heartbreak Hotel". My father Hoyt Axton- Singer/Songwriter/Actor - "Joy to the world", "Della and the Dealer" and "Gremlins". And his mom Donna Axton - Composer/Professor of Music/Piano Master as my guides, his musical journey took flight.
He began as a simple Singer/Songwriter and picked up whatever sound the songs asks for along the way, but never straying too far from my roots and the unique storytelling that a group of note with the right set…
